Nepal Telecom has introduced subscription-based prepaid mobile packages that automatically renew every month, eliminating the need for customers to manually activate their packages each billing cycle.
Under the new subscription model, once a customer subscribes to a package, it will be automatically renewed every 30 days, provided there is sufficient balance in the prepaid account.
The company has launched three recurring prepaid plans. The Namaste Recurring 299 package, priced at NPR 299, includes 300 minutes of all-network voice calls, 4 GB of anytime data, 2 GB of night data (11:00 PM–6:00 AM), and 20 on-net SMS.
The Namaste Recurring 499 package, available for NPR 499, offers 500 minutes of all-network voice calls, 8 GB of anytime data, 4 GB of night data, and 100 all-network SMS.
Meanwhile, the premium Namaste Recurring 799 package, priced at NPR 799, provides unlimited all-network voice calls, 10 GB of data per day (up to 300 GB per month), and 300 all-network SMS.
Nepal Telecom has also introduced add-on data packs for subscribers. Customers can purchase 1 GB for one day at NPR 30, 2 GB for three days at NPR 50, or 4 GB for seven days at NPR 99.
Customers can subscribe to any of the recurring packages by dialing *1415# and following the instructions.
According to Nepal Telecom spokesperson Dr. Kamal Lamichhane, the new subscription-based model is designed to offer greater convenience by ensuring uninterrupted service through automatic monthly renewal, subject to sufficient account balance.
