MetLife Nepal and Khalti Suraksha have launched Suraksha 360, a digital insurance plan available to customers on the Khalti app—making financial protection simpler, faster, and more accessible than ever.
Getting insurance no longer needs to be complicated or time-consuming. Designed for mobile- first users, Suraksha 360 allows individuals to purchase insurance in just a few minutes using basic personal details. By reducing paperwork and streamlining steps, the plan offers a seamless experience through a platform many Nepalis already use daily.
Suraksha 360 brings together multiple essential coverages under a single plan, helping customers avoid the hassle of managing different policies. The plan includes Loss of Life, Accidental Death & Permanent Disability (AD&PTD), and Critical Illness Coverage, offering financial support during major health challenges. It also covers Accidental Medical Expenses, for treatment costs arising from accidents.
This all-in-one approach helps address both life and health-related financial risks. Suraksha 360 is available in three packages: Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Customers can choose a plan that fits both their protection needs and budget. With coverage options ranging from Rs. 23 lakhs to Rs. 46 lakhs, and annual premiums starting from just Rs. 3,810 depending on the selected package, the plan makes comprehensive protection more accessible and affordable for a wider group of Nepalis aged 18 to 50.
MetLife Nepal’s Chief Distribution Officer Mr. Arun Bahadur Basnet says, “Suraksha 360 supports customers at every life stage, offering accessible insurance through a trusted digital platform. By simplifying insurance purchases, we aim to encourage more Nepalis to take an informed step toward financial protection.”
