Nepal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nepal (MoFA) has issued a six-point advisory to Nepali nationals residing in Iran and Israel following escalating hostilities in the Middle East.
The advisory was released on Saturday afternoon after reports that the United States and Israel launched strikes inside Iran, prompting retaliatory attacks by Iran targeting Israel and US bases in the region, according to international media.
Stating that it is closely monitoring the evolving security situation, the ministry urged Nepali citizens in the affected areas to remain cautious and follow local authorities’ directives.
Six Key Instructions Issued by MoFA
MoFA has advised Nepali nationals in Israel and Iran to:

Strictly follow all security advisories and instructions issued by the competent authorities of Israel and Iran.

Remain indoors as much as possible, stay vigilant, exercise caution, and maintain regular contact with the Nepali community in their respective locations.

Avoid traveling without prior authorization from relevant authorities in Israel and Iran.

Maintain regular communication with the Ministry in Kathmandu, the Embassy of Nepal Tel Aviv, and the Embassy of Nepal Doha.

Defer travel plans to Israel or Iran until the situation stabilizes.

Nepali nationals residing and working in other Middle Eastern countries are advised to closely monitor developments and follow precautionary measures issued by respective authorities.

The government has urged Nepali citizens in the region to remain calm but alert and to immediately contact the concerned authorities in case of emergency.
